Design a website that will help promote the warehouse and its facilities, in order to generate business enquiries from prospective clients.

Implement a private retailer area that will integrate with the company's existing warehouse stock systems, in order to allow retailers to check stock levels and submit inbound/outbound delivery requests to the warehouse staff.

Solution

Within a month of approval, a fully working website, complemented by a private retailers area, was produced.

The website features a clean and simple layout, designed to help convey the important information regarding the warehouse quickly and easily to the potential clients.

Imagery from the warehouse is used across the site, including in a gallery section, in order to help the clients see exactly what the facilities are like.

A private retailers area was implemented, backed by an administration system which allows the Halsall staff to manage users and view delivery notifications. The retailers area allows clients to login and check the stock levels of their products, as well as to submit despatch notifications to the warehouse team. This process is designed to save both warehouse staff and retailers time - as the information is concisely formatted and stored; ensuring less chance for any mistakes to occur.
